Following on from the successful installation of a CCTV, Fire Safety and Intruder Alarm System at Go Underhill, the landmark Community Hub development in Mumbles, the Plexus team were recently back on site to work on the All Weather Pitch (AWP).
The AWP is the phase 2 element of the Go Underhill Project and, working through the lead M&E Contractors RDM Electrical & Mechanical Services, the Plexus FS team installed three Hikvision ColourVu cameras.
“The cameras are ideal for this type of environment,” said Tom Balfry of Plexus FS, “as they not only combine to give a full view of the pitch but they can be operated independently if the security team needs to zoom in on a particular area.” The cameras have built-in white light technology which keeps the camera images in full colour even at night.
In addition to the security aspect of the cameras, the system allows the live streaming of footage directly into the café and thanks to its high definition, full-colour features, games can be watched by spectators in the warmth and comfort of the coffee shop.
